I remember visiting my grandmother at her job at Sears when I was a kid. The north end store I probably visited her at when I was too young to remember was demolished years ago. Now the one where she spent the last years of her career working, is being stripped away.

The excavation for the new NB Liquor on Union Street is now underway.

New Sobeys progress

Today it was announced that H&M will be taking up some of the space left vacant in McAllister Place Mall.

 

Meanwhile, up the hill the Sobeys at East Point continues to take shape, which will leave another space available in the McAllister Place mall.
