Social Enterprise Hub–Closer to reality

The Social Enterprise Hub proposed for Prince Edward Street was in need of about $300,000 when they released their sponsorship package earlier this year.

Today, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) has announced a $300,000 investment in the project. 

ACOA describes the project in their press release as follows:

“The project involves the construction of a three level, 15,000 square foot building that will act as a “hub” for entrepreneurship, innovative thinking and social change.  The vision for the new facility is to foster creativity and entrepreneurship for poverty reduction.”
