Social Enterprise Hub

Colourful siding has been installed to the outside of the soon to open Social Enterprise Hub. The property will soon house Saint John Community Loan Fund and Saint John Learning Exchange and other non-profits that enable community growth through skills development and entrepreneurship.

There are efforts afoot to establish a MakerSpace at UNB Saint John. On July 10, 2014 at 10 am there will be a session on campus about MakerSpaces, the equipment involved and the local MakerSpace effort.

I was in KV recently and snapped a few pictures of the land being developed with a francophone elementary school in Quispamsis.  The site, on the corner of Pettingill Road and Quispamsis Road will be a lot closer for the elementary school age kids in KV, who are currently being bussed to Saint John for a francophone school.
