Locavore: Growlers

I’m going to try to highlight some local food and drink, as I think that a healthy urban community is supported by local production of the food and drink we consume.  These posts will be tagged with the “Locavore” title.

Today, I wanted to point out that Big Tide Brewing Co. is now selling their beers in growlers, 64 oz (1.89 L) jugs.  The growler concept was first rolled out in NB by Picaroons in Fredericton.  If you like your drinks made locally, and enjoy fresh made beer, check Big Tide out.  They’re on Princess Street.
