Out of the Cold shelter

“Faith Has to be put into action” pastor Dr. John Crawford told the Telegraph Journal.  An article today discusses the Out of the Cold program being run out of the basement of Grace Presbyterian Church.

The program is attempting to fill a gap by providing emergency shelter services when the temperature drops below minus 10 Celsius. 

A friend was explaining the program to me yesterday and it sounds like this should help meet a need in the community, where no similar shelter is currently offered for men without homes.

It’s good to see community groups stepping up.
