Safer Parking

There has been talk in Saint John of late regarding the need to create new parking structures.

I noticed an article on CTV that might be smart for the city to consider. The article talks about what features make a parking garage safe - these include light colored walls (to make spotting thieves easier), security patrols and good lighting. Perhaps Saint John and other cities should follow Vancouver's lead and staff Safer Parking initiatives.
