I am impressed with the comprehensive plan that Quispamsis is presenting for its new ice surface and swimming pool. The fact that the project looks good, provides needed recreation space and is being build to LEED standards all make for a positive project.

So I would assume that we will be losing the running track the goes around the circumference of the current soccer field.
This track is used by runners and others who want a 400 metre track for training.
So my tax dollars are going for things I don't use and is used to remove things I do use? Not very favourable to me.

Looking here, it seems to me that the existing track, field, baseball diamond, building, tennis court, and back soccer field will remain in tact. Of course I could be wrong.

if you look at that image, they are redirecting the saunders brook right over where the soccer field is.
Which makes me think the field and track goes away. I've emailed an called the town and no one has responded.
Yes, If you look at the image they are redirecting the Saunders Brook over the soccer field... but if you READ you will see that its a culverted section. That means its underground. So the soccer field and track will more than likely be left as is.
