Habitat for Humanity

I was pleased to help this weekend as Habitat for Humanity salvaged valuable building materials from 63-65 Carleton Street in uptown Saint John. Some items that could compliment heritage homes were salvaged and will likely be for sale in the Habitat for Humanity ReStore before long.

Hopefully other city groups and citizens follow the parking commission's lead and allow for Habitat to salvage materials. When the materials are sold in the Saint John ReStore, this helps fund new Habitat building projects in Greater Saint John.
