My idyllic uptown

I like living in the core of the city. I've written before about the magic of the South End. Two things happened today that made me remember some of the challenges of living in the city. I woke up to find my car was egged last night (along with many others). Then driving on Broad Street I saw a dismembered baby doll on the street. These things can happen anywhere, but these are the sorts of experiences that make some people reluctant to move to the core. I find them odd annoyances, but still love living here.
