Royal District Planning Commission

I found a website for the Royal District Planning Commission. The site has draft rural plans for the rural parts of Kings County including Summervale and Kennebecasis Island. These areas are pretty near Saint John, you just have to cross a River to get to them. I think it is a real asset for Saint John that people can have a rural lifestyle if they choose and only be 20 minutes or so from the city (depending on ferry schedules). While I like downtown lifestyle, if I wanted a place with a yard and a bit of non-city living, I think I would go across the river, rather than just up the highway to the KV.
