Potential meditation peace palace in Saint John

According to the CBC (http://www.cbc.ca/canada/new-brunswick/story/2006/10/13/nb-tmsj.html), city councillor Ivan Court - who is known for questioning many development projects in Saint John - might be in support of the city giving land to the Indian Transcendental Meditation movement to build a Peace Palace. This project would create a space for locals to practice Transcendental Meditation.
This sort of development might give the city a more urban feel and appeal to new-agers in the area.
