Brooklyn’s “too many” bike problem

I came across an article in the publication The Brooklyn Paper (which is an amazing, non-pretentious name, by the way) about a vigilante who has become fed up with Brooklyn hipster enclave Williamsburg being full of bikes that are chained all over the place.

The article describes the effort by the unidentified person to vandalize bike locks with glue if bikes are chained to poles or other objects that are not official bike racks.

I don’t think there are enough bikes chained around SJ for anyone to organize a 4am posse to enact street justice.  Still, it’s an interesting read.
