Recreation: Waterfront YMCA; Quispamsis Rink

Two articles in the Telegraph Journal today talk of recreational development.  One discusses the proposed replacement of the YMCA, including the idea of having this on the waterfront.  One reader made an interesting suggestion in the comments that the YMCA might fit well into an expansion of the LBR.  While this wouldn’t in the heart of the downtown, the peripheral location of the Moncton Y may support such a location.  It’s a neat idea, if nothing else.

The other recreation article was about the qPlex and its new manager who came from BC to take on managing the rink facility.
