Office Space Renos

officespace001 officespace002

I noticed that this building that used to house the French cafe on Germain Street is being renovated.  Hopefully the building will provide more quality office space in the uptown.  With new residential development in the area and low office vacancy rates I think it is vital that more office space is created to support a vibrant community where people can live and work in the central city.

That building on Prince William (the former Bank of Nova Scotia) is one of my favourite pieces of Uptown architecture. I love the roof line, the symmetry, the sandstone, the finishing details, it's gorgeous. Asthetically I could pass on most brick buildings in the city, but that building really stands out in my mind. Reminds me a bit of Edinburgh.
