Heritage Awareness Project

An article in the Here weekly newspaper earlier this month discusses a Heritage Awareness Project being run by Jo Anne Claus with David Goss and Joan Pierce. 

The project involves increasing awareness of the value of heritage preservation, in part through presentations to high school students studying hospitality and tourism. 

The article discusses some of the limits put on properties added to the heritage registry, but also talks of some of the tax and funding advantages of such a designation.
