Costco

The Saint Johners who long for more big box retails can let out a sigh of relief: Costco is on the way. According the the Telegraph Journal:

Costco, East Point reach a deal
The way has been cleared for big-box
retailer Costco to come to the city. City manager Terry Totten wrote in a letter
to common council, presented to the politicians Monday night, that East Point
Shopping and Costco have entered into a financial agreement, paving the way for
the retailer to set up shop on the east side. Totten did not provide any other
details. Mayor Ivan Court said the store will become an anchor for other
retailers in the city and will attract further investment here.
