Priority Neighbourhoods video

The Saint John Human Development Council posted to YouTube a very well produced video about the "Priority Neighbourhoods" of Saint John. The video discusses homelessness, and some of the progress being made in the priority neighbourhoods:

• Crescent Valley has had community youth design a park;
• Waterloo Village has seen homeless youth gain access to showers and laundry facilities at The Resource Centre for Youth;
• In the Old North End One Change has worked with other groups to create affordable housing;
• Lower West Side has seen the formation of PACT (Police and Community Together) to deal with issues; and
• South End is seeing new development and should see more from the Saint John Affordable Housing Strategy.
