Bathtubs

Queen Street, between Charlotte St. and Germain St., was blocked early this afternoon by a shipment of what appeared to be a shipment of bathtubs. Assuming these were tubs, rather than shower enclosures, one can surmise that the units in the new building being constructed on the block will have apartments with full bathrooms.

A recent critique of the Tannery Court development is that the apartments there will have shower stalls in each washroom - some neighbours see this as a sign of a developer trying to maximize profit at the expense of tenant comfort.
