Rockwood Park pipeline progress

There was a letter to the editor in the Telegraph Journal recently where someone commented that they were recently in Rockwood Park enjoying it before the natural gas pipeline was put through. I thought I would check the pipeline's progress. Here are two shots from what I've heard referred to as the "Horse Trail." The swath that was cut along the current utility easement is evident, but I was surprised that it was already being mitigated - I assumed they would finish and come back later to clean up. The yellow-brown in the first photo is a layer of straw and mesh that is protecting grass seed as it grows in.
