Guy Barbara: medical school hero?
According to some news stories coming out of Country 94 news local hotel and business owner Guy Barbara has purchased a building that he wants to donate to the English language medical program that is supposed to be a partnership between Dalhousie University and UNB. The old Key Industries Building isn't too far from the hospital and university and might be a good fit.
Supply and Service Minister Jack Keir said the province will look at the donation and consider where to go next on the project. Jack Keir is a local MLA and ensures the public the government is definitely considering the idea. Still, they can't just accept any offer, it will have to work.
I think Mr. Barbara's idea is good news, but I hope he's not using this solely as a political tool - he apparently announced this donation attempt with a mayoral candidate by his side. If this is just a ploy, it may turn into a real disappointment.

This is a facebook group, the hotel hosted a wedding reception for a couple in May 2009, the bride and groom where unhappy with the service and asked of a partical refund, they were denigned what they asked for so started a facebook group Guy Barbara started to personaly threaten the groom.
