91 King Street

The former Bargain Shop at the corner of King Street and Charlotte Street has been vacant for a while now and is starting to look a little run down.

Earlier this week Mayor Mel Norton commented on the building’s less than charming look.

Fortunately real estate agent Stephanie Turner is working with the owner to make the empty building look a little bit better while she searches out a buyer. Turner has also posted about the building on her blog with posts about an artist’s concept of what could be there and another promoting the building to potential buyers.

The public conversation continues on Twitter with the hashtag #91King

Here’s a post from December 2013 where I imagined a possible use: http://urbanplans.blogspot.ca/2013/12/ideas-for-another-market-in-saint-john.html
