I was visiting a friend today and noticed an odd juxtaposition in the north end. What I saw was a school adjacent to a warehouse/industrial use.
This mix of uses got me wondering how the decision was made to locate these two things beside each other. I wonder if zoning was amended to allow this.
The more we contemplate property uses as a city and community, the better future developments will be. In that vein, I encourage everyone to look at the new zoning that is in the work for the City of Saint John:
