Big Box issues

Today on CBC’s Q there was an interview about repurposing of Big Box stores.  There was also some talk of how to communities are working to ensure mega-stores can be better repurposed and fit better into communities.

On a related note, the Calgary Herald ran a story about proposed regulations in Calgary that would reduce the area needed for retail parking (by utilizing multi-level parkades) and to create more pedestrian friendly retail clusters.
