Youth House

Rev. Paul Ranson’s blog (Shared Ministry in the Anglican Archdeaconry of Saint John) has a new post today showing some options that the Archdeaconry is considering for their “Youth House,” a facility where homeless youth are offered a bed and support.

Today’s post shows three options, one which would redevelop the interior of St. James Church on Broad Street in the South End, one that would have the site redeveloped with a new building, and one that would preserve part of the church building facade, with new construction to the rear.

Some of the pluses and minuses of the various options are discussed on the blog.

I wish them good luck with the project.
