Commercial Properties Ltd. is installing a clock in front of their heritage redevelopment block known as Centerbeam Place to make the city’s 225th anniversary. Work has begun.

After walking by last night and seeing the work that they were doing in this whole and seeing that they were working at night I'd have to guess that this whole is being used for more than a clock foundation. I think some form of water works are going on.
Maybe the hole is just for the clock, but I heard about some water work on King St (the Subway was closed the other night and some folks were talking at another late night eatery that it could have been due to some pipe work).
Either way, the clock will be cool and I look forward to seeing it.
