TJ reports on Tannery Court findings
I posted yesterday about the UNB/U de M study commissioned by Coop Atlantic about the quality of life in Tannery Court buildings.
According to the TJ, the study shows that residents of the development “gain self-confidence, they're more interested to participate in social life in general.”
The Telegraph Journal has published another article about the study. A few commentors are still concerned about the greater social implications of the developments.

Well... "there's lies ...damned lies ... and then there is statistics."
This "Scientific" study uses a scale of 1-4 to assess tenants' opinions on their current living conditions.
If you actually took the time to review the data, even from the "Executive Summary" you will see marginal differences, even when results are tailored, by the very scoring system, to elicit high results.
It is shameful that Avide/Co-Op Atlantic is driven to justify this poor model, but when you do the math and see that each Tannery Court Building can potentially mean over $5.25 million, in cash flow over 10 yrs... you see the motivating factors at play.
Look at the data...it is interesting where results appear to be marginally worse than before.
