KV bike lanes

I’ve done a lot of bike riding in KV.  My brother and I have taken many trips along Rothesay Road and Gondola Point Road roads to get on the ferry toward our grandparents cottage on the Kingston Peninsula.  I’ve biked to check out events in the valley and to visit friends.

With this cycling has come some complaining.  I’ve been annoyed by the lack of adequate shoulders at some points, and have hit a nail in the piles of rubble to the side of some roads.

This evening Quispamsis Town Council will be discussing its bike land strategy and according to the mayor’s TJ quote “See how we can connect from Grand Bay-Westfield to Saint John to the valley.”

This area is a great place to bike, very scenic and I hope that people get out of their SUV's and get a little fresh air. We are blessed to have access to such places.

Cycling in the KV is great, except for people rushing around in their bloated cars, go on a bike and drink in the scenery!
