Long Wharf – Fort Reliance Headquarters October 23, 2009

I took these pictures of the Long Wharf HQ development this afternoon.  Fortunately the pile driving wasn’t going on when I was this close.

I found it interesting that the “Irving Oil” headquarters sign didn’t mention Irving Oil, but instead the parent/holding company Fort Reliance. Interestingly the Longwharf.ca website seems to have retconned the project history to say “In June 2008, Fort Reliance, the parent company of Irving Oil, shared its proposal for a new development on Saint John's inner harbour at Long Wharf.”

Also, I’m curious what Commercial Property’s role will be on this project.
