I received this note in my email:
The United Nations has chosen the first Monday in October to be World Habitat Day - a day to stand up and let it be known that affordable, adequate housing should be a priority everywhere. Raising awareness about this global problem is the first step in making sure that everyone everywhere has a safe and decent place to call home.
