NB Liquor to move into renovated Fredericton Train Station

The Daily Gleaner reports that the former York Street Train Station will be restored for occupancy by a NB Liquor store.  I’ve heard complaints over the years that this heritage building was being neglected by its owners, and other complaints about the lack of adequate libation retail in central Fredericton, so this seems to be a good news story.

It looks to be in such bad shape. I'm surprised it can be saved.

Whatever happened to the plan for a new liquor store in uptown Saint John?

Its hard to picture where in uptwon Saint John this sort of store could fit. The NBLC indicated that the space needs to allow for some parking and easy delivery.
