Potentially Fewer apartments in Rothesay

A 16 unit apartment building is nearing completion Scribner Crescent in Rothesay.  This will increase the apartment housing stock – which is mainly centered around Scott Avenue, Marr Road, Clark Road and Miller Avenue.

In the newspaper today though, there is talk of Rothesay losing several apartment buildings on Scott Avenue.  These buildings might be removed to make way for Rothesay’s recreation expansion; after all, the town needs new recreation space after their decision to not partner with Quispamsis on creating a larger qPlex.

Interestingly, on Bing Maps, when one searches for Rothesay, it pinpoints the Town almost at Scott Avenue.

Just waded through the comments on the story and am furious. I've lived in Saint John, among mixed housing for five years. They have a small taste of it and look what it brings out in some people.
