Heritage value

I subscribed to a Google Alert to tell me when "Saint John" and heritage are mentioned together online. I find that most of these alerts relate to apartment listings.

Claerly those listing apartments see this as a selling feature. Presumably more rent or less vacancy come out of heritage ownership, if heritage characteristics are indeed something worth placing in tha ad. This extra income can then offset purchase price premiums or additional mainetance costs associated with heritage buildings.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into the ads, but it is clear that if yo have a historic property and you think this is a plus, you ought not forget to mention this on kijiji.
