My Saint John
Over the last couple of days I’ve encountered two blogs with “My Saint John” in their address lines.
The first (MySaintJohnBlog.blogspot.com) is a political themed blog, mainly with reactions to city hall and council. For those who only like to read of the city as seen through rose coloured glasses, you should brace yourselves for a critical and somewhat cynical view of how this place is run.
The second (MySaintJohn.wordpress.com/) is a hip photo blog with quirky photos of the city and brief commentaries. I expect the graffiti and off-beat scenes caught on this site won’t fill Saint John’s tourist promotions any time soon, but they provide some fun material for Saint John residents who like to laugh at ourselves.
P.S. I wonder if it’s hip to say “hip.”

lol...your comment made me think of that.
That brings to mind:
Homer: So I realized that being with my family is more important
than being cool.
Bart: Dad, what you just said was powerfully uncool.
Homer: You know what the song says: "It's hip to be square."
Lisa: That song is so lame.
Homer: So lame that it's... cool?
Bart and Lisa: No.
Marge: Am I cool, kids?
Bart and Lisa: No.
Marge: Good. I'm glad. And that's what makes me cool—not caring, right?
Bart and Lisa: No.
Marge: Well, how the hell do you be cool? I feel like we've tried
everything here.
Homer: Wait, Marge. Maybe if you're truly cool, you don't need to
be told you're cool.
Bart: Well, sure you do.
Lisa: How else would you know?
