Wind Generation

The Province of New Brunswick and Irving Oil announced some energy related projects today. The Province is working with the State of Maine to set up more energy corridor infrastructure. This will support the Saint John Energy Hub.

Irving Oil announced that they are looking into the feasibility of setting up a wind and natural gas power generation system that will have a base load of up to 1,500 megawatts. The photo above is of a section of Mispec that could be where some wind turbines might generate some of this power (this is a guess based on proximity to Irving's other energy projects and the windy coastline).
