Hotels and Rockwood Park partnership idea

I think local hotels could benefit from creating packages of activities at Rockwood Park. With the Chateau Saint John being constructed so near the park I think they would have a great opportunity to sell families packages that include kayak or canoe rentals, golf passes and zoo admissions. If hotels promoted the range of activities at the zoo, they might be able to convince those passing through to stay an extra day – some time on Lily Lake, golfing and a trip to the zoo would surely fill a day for a family.

In addition to the benefits to the hotels, this could be a good way for the zoo to increase revenue, something that is greatly needed as the organization’s budget is stretched.
