Starbucks locational dilemma

Starbucks is closing a lot of its new stores in the US. According to a New York Times article, this has been necessitated in part by the company expanding into locations that weren't the best fit for growing overall revenue. Cannibalization in the form of opening stores to near each other is cited a major flaw in recent growth.

Realizing that Saint John is experiencing a different economic pattern than much of the US, it is still interesting to think how close the two new Starbucks stores are to each other in Saint John.
