Uptown / South End plan

The city will be holding a meeting in the near future to assess the citizens opinions regarding the current uptown/South End plan. Hopefully the new city planner will be able to referee this meeting well and come up with a plan that is sustainable and growth-oriented.

The municipal plan from a bygone era needs to be updated for sure as uses of the waterfront have changed. Also, infill guidelines need to address a growing demand for new housing in the uptown. The city will also have to consider the plans, successes and failures of the Waterfront Development Partnership when finalizing what the land use plan should look like.
