Freakonomics - Streets and neighbourhoods

The Freakonomics blog had an article today about the loss of identity felt in the community South Central LA since the name South Central was dropped.

The post leads to another on Freakonomics about the importance of street names on house prices. The article is based on a blog post by two Realtors, who believe that bad street names can have a negative impact on property value.
