What a condo includes

I definately talked extensively on this blog about the John Rocca condo project, now know as Harbourfront Residences at Three Sisters. This is in part due to the fact that the condo project is unique ot the city - the waterfront project is the biggest residental building to be created in my lifetime in Saint John. Not only is it big, but according to a Telegraph Journal article today, the units are going to be pretty posh: 3 metre ceilings is a detail that stands out for me.
I went to a session where Rocca and his team asked for input on what people wanted included with the suites. According the TJ article they have settled on providing with the units the following:
  • indoor parking spot
  • storage locker
  • access to two guest suites for company
  • a gym
  • lounge and theatre for larger parties
  • 5,000-square-foot common outdoor patio

Again according to the TJ article, Rocca is hoping that after he sells out his units that this will spur the development of new large scale projects uptown as well as conversions of underutilized space to condominiums.
