The Utility of Saint Andrews Park
Local forum user kwajo points out at Skyscraper Page's Saint John Development Forum that the development of Saint Andrews Park at the foot of King Street serves a purpose more than aesthetic appeal. Kwajo says:
- "[The Saint Andrews Park development] not only opens up room for the Coast Guard site re-development, but also will house an electrical sub-station underneath the buildings, thus allowing for greater electrical demands Uptown and saving us from an ugly above-ground sub-station (like the one near Harbour Passage"

Over all, I think this will be a good thing for the city; I just wished it would have happened several years ago.
