Med school building

I heard Guy Barbara on the CBC this morning talking about his proposed med school building donation. He sounds legit. Barbara says he gave Supply and Services Minister Jack Keir 2 weeks to respond to his offer and is willing to keep working on the project even if the Key Industries Building is determined to not be up to the task.

Barbara made an interesting point that business owners in town, such as himself, need to be willing to step up on charitable initiatives even when Irving isn't the first donor out of the gate.

I will keep my ears open on this.
