With a new Canadian Tire store on the horizon for the west side of Saint John, a press release from Canadian Tire Retail could be of interest to Saint Johners and green building fans. According to the release, new Canadian Tire stores are 30% more efficient than stores built six years ago.

Increased insulation and more efficient lighting are among the building elements that help make the buildings more green.
