Tannery Court is coming along with a covered roof and at lease one window installed. In the next few weeks I’ll be pleased to start posting pictures of Abbey St. Andrew once its construction starts.
Very sad to see this HUGE project proceeding - it is not just blocking the sun but will also block healthy balanced development in a neighbourhood badly in need of positive change - For those of you who will be voting in September's election be sure to check out each party's SJ Harbour candidate's record on supporting Tannery Court and it's "segegrated" approach to housing as well as AVIDE's lack of community consultation on this project.
On the other hand, yes it will be great to see the Abbey Project begin construction. A+ on community consultation and A+ on using a mixed-income approach as a means of helping people who need an affordable place to live.
